Mitsubishi 380 VRX Car Review

Overview

If what you need is an aesthetically pleasing vehicle with impressive interior features and excellent handling, then I would highly recommend taking a look at the Mitsubishi 380 VRX. The interior of the car is very impressive. The standard features in the vehicle will definitely please the owner. Fortunately, Mitsubishi offers optional rear parking sensors that can assist the driver in parking. As far as driving the Mitsubishi 380 VRX goes, any driver will be pleased-it is an excellent car to drive.

Details

If what you need is an aesthetically pleasing vehicle with impressive interior features and excellent handling, then I would highly recommend taking a look at the Mitsubishi 380 VRX. Mitsubishi also offers the typical 5 years/130,000km warranty and 5 year roadside assistance.

Mitsubishi 380 VRX silver

The interior of the car is very impressive. Keeping with the sportscar type image, the seats are cloth-black on red. These seats are perfect for this vehicle, since leather seats, in my opinion, should be reserved for more luxury vehicles. In addition to the comfortable seats, the speedometer/odometer gauge is well designed and appealing-it even includes a trip computer. The standard features in the vehicle will definitely please the owner. Complete with electric windows and locks, airbags (side, driver, and passenger), and automatic headlights, the interior of this car is impressive. Along with these features, the 380 VRX comes with a great sound system, complete with a 6-disc CD player. It also has the expected temperature features, which are controlled with climate control. The only trouble that the interior has is the large sunshade. If the driver has to use this while driving, it blocks a large amount of the windshield from view, making it quite dangerous. It would be wise to wear sunglasses or opt for window tinting rather than using the sunshade.

The 380 VRX hugs curves and does not require over-driving. The only downside here is the fact that the car is Front Wheel Drive. Sometimes when the driver gives it full power, it has trouble staying in contact with the road-this could be omitted if the vehicle were All Wheel Drive instead. And though the car is supposed to be sporty enough to handle some tough driving, there have been rumored troubles with the rear suspension. Be careful when reversing-the trunk being in such a high position makes it difficult to see. Fortunately, Mitsubishi offers optional rear parking sensors that can assist the driver in parking. Despite the fact that it is intended to be a sportscar, the inside is comfortable enough for road trips. And with a fuel efficiency of approximately 11L/110KM, you won't have to fill up your tank much to take the trip.

When looking at the outside of the Mitsubishi 380 VRX, it is quite obvious that it is meant to be a sporty vehicle. Though it does not distinguish itself entirely from the Mitsubishi 380 GT, it still has a visually appealing outside, which makes it eye-catching. In addition, like other cars in its class, it could have had more sporty features for the outside, such as a spoiler.

Under the hood, there is one thing that does not exactly make sense. Like the many other models in the Mitsubishi 380 series, the VRX has the same 3.8Ltr, V-6 engine. As far as driving the Mitsubishi 380 VRX goes, any driver will be pleased-it is an excellent car to drive. Though there has been a five-speed automatic transmission in this vehicle in the past, the VRX comes equipped with a manual transmission. This adds to the sportscar image that the car strives for. Being able to shift manually adds to the control that the driver has of the vehicle. The driver does not have to wait for the automatic transmission to change gears, which is a definite bonus.

Keep in mind of the additional options that you might want to get in the vehicle if the sunshade or parking is a bother to you. If you equip the vehicle with these features, then there just isn't much more you could do to make this the perfect vehicle for this class. With an affordable cost, it's definitely worth looking into.
